Allanah Power

Allanah's Story

Allanah was born and raised in Newfoundland. She completed her Bachelors degree in Linguistics and English, as well as a graduate diploma in community health at Memorial University. She continued her studies in Edinburgh, Scotland where she completed her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. 

Since becoming a Speech Language Pathologist, she has worked with clients of all ages (e.g., preschool-aged children, school-aged children, and adults) with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders. She has experience working in hospital, school, and private practice settings. Prior to becoming an SLP, Allanah taught kids yoga, and worked as a behavioural therapist. 

When not working, Allanah spends time with her two boys Max and Luke, and her husband. They enjoy boating and exploring the lovely CBS trails.
